Every day, 7 days a week, anyone is welcome to come to the drop-in sessions at the River of Life Centre by the Railway Station between 7pm and 8pm. No referral is needed and it’s completely free.
We receive surplus food donations from local supermarkets – Aldi (Glasgow Road and Annan Road), M&S, Tesco (Lockerbie Road) and Lidl virtually every day. Most items are short dated but still safe and useable. The schemes are administered through national organisations, Neighbourly and Fareshare Go.
We’re grateful to an amazing team of volunteers who work tirelessly to collect food from the supermarkets and man the drop-in sessions. They make it possible!
